To improve the user experience and provide seamless service, EURES jobseeker accounts will be deactivated on 31 March 2025. They can be transferred to Europass, a free platform offering digital tools to build a CV, support skills transparency, lifelong learning, and guidance for transnational learning mobility and career management.
What changes
All EURES jobseeker accounts, including their CVs, will be closed on 31 March. As of 1 April, Europass will serve as the platform for jobseekers and learners. EURES portal users can transfer their CVs there.
What stays the same
- EURES will continue to keep a large CV and job vacancy database and provide support to jobseekers from all 27 EU countries, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Switzerland.
- Employers and EURES Advisers will still have access to candidate profiles that have been transferred to Europass and shared with EURES.
- EURES will maintain its role in providing personalised job matching services through EURES Advisers, mobility advice and recruitment support.
How to transfer your EURES profile to Europass
If you have created your CV online in EURES, you can easily transfer your information to Europass before the transition:
- Log in to your EURES account.
- Export your CV directly to Europass using the provided tools.
Important: After 31 March, exports won’t be possible, and you’ll need to recreate your profile directly in Europass.
How to access Europass and share your CV with EURES
- You can log in to Europass using your existing EU Login credentials (the same you use for EURES).
- Once your Europass account is set up, you can connect it to EURES to share your profile with employers and employment services across Europe.
This is done from your Europass profile:
