It aims to support seasonal workers by improving awareness of health protection, injury prevention and workplace safety through accessible, multilingual information.

Support offered

The Web app of the Social Insurance Fund for Agriculture, Forestry and Horticulture provides online health and safety information for seasonal workers and their employers in the agricultural sector. It offers guidance on workplace health protection, injury prevention, first aid and emergency contacts, presented in simple language and supported by visual material. Additionally, the web app includes access to a free hotline and chatbot for additional support.

Target groups and eligibility

The web app is intended for seasonal workers from central and eastern Europe employed in the agricultural sector in Germany, with particular focus on workers aged 18 to 30 from Poland and Romania. Employers and supervisors are a secondary target group. There are no eligibility criteria, as the service is publicly available online and free of charge.
