Praca sezonowa wybrane kraje

Seasonal work in selected countries

  • Project

Rationale and aims

Praca sezonowa wybrane kraje was set up by the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy in Poland (Ministerstwo Rodziny, Pracy i Polityki Społecznej) and the EURES National Coordination Office (EURES NCO). It provides information to Polish seasonal workers on employment opportunities in other EU countries. The service aims to raise awareness of workers’ rights and obligations and to support informed decisions about taking up seasonal work abroad.

Support offered

Seasonal work in selected countries offers an online information service through a series of country-specific webpages on seasonal work (Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands). The service provides practical information on workers’ rights and obligations, key national institutions and organisations, living and working conditions, employment contracts, remuneration, working time, leave entitlements, insurance and social contributions. It also includes contact details for EURES advisers for further support.

Target groups and eligibility

Praca sezonowa wybrane kraje targets Polish seasonal workers seeking employment in other EU countries and is also used by EURES advisers to support outreach activities. There are no eligibility criteria beyond proficiency in one of the available languages.
