Nordjobb

  • Project

Rationale and aims

Nordjobb provides a labour market exchange programme that supports young seasonal workers in finding employment across the Nordic countries and assists employers in recruiting staff. The programme aims to increase the mobility of young people within the Nordic region and to strengthen the common Nordic labour market by supporting access to seasonal work and promoting language and cultural knowledge relevant to employment.

Support offered

Nordjobb provides an online service that connects young people with seasonal job opportunities in the Nordic countries and supports employers with recruitment. The programme offers job matching, information for jobseekers and employers, assistance with accommodation solutions where relevant. It also offers practical information on rights and obligations related to seasonal work through online guidance and country-specific information resources.

Target groups and eligibility

Nordjobb is intended for young seasonal workers aged 18 to 30 who are citizens of an EU or EEA country and have knowledge of Danish, Norwegian or Swedish, although some positions require only English. Employers seeking seasonal workers in the Nordic countries can also use the programme, with no specific eligibility criteria stated for employer participation.
