Bilateral cooperation between Polish jobseekers and Dutch seasonal employers

  • Project

Rationale and aims

The bilateral cooperation between Polish jobseekers and Dutch seasonal employers aims to promote safe and legal seasonal employment for Polish workers interested in working in the Netherlands. The instrument builds on the long-standing cooperation between the Regional Employment Office in Bialystok in Poland’s Podlaskie region (Wojewódzki Urząd Pracy w Białymstoku), EURES Netherlands (EURES Nederland) and EURES Poland. The initiative supports access to verified seasonal job opportunities and seeks to help address labour shortages in the Netherlands while supporting income opportunities for seasonal workers.

Support offered

The bilateral cooperation between Polish jobseekers and Dutch seasonal employers provides access to verified seasonal job opportunities through the EURES network, particularly in the agriculture and horticulture sectors. It offers information on job opportunities, working and living conditions in the Netherlands, and enables direct contact with EURES advisers through online and in-person information activities.

Target groups and eligibility

The initiative is intended for seasonal workers in Poland interested in employment opportunities in the Netherlands, particularly in the agriculture and horticulture sectors, with a primary focus on jobseekers from the Podlaskie region. There are no eligibility criteria to access the instrument or its services.
