Rationale and aims
European (Online) Job Days was launched by EURES Greece. It aims to support job matching for seasonal workers in Greece by connecting EU/EEA jobseekers with Greek employers in sectors with high seasonal labour demand, particularly tourism, HORECA and construction. The initiative provides targeted information and online matching opportunities to facilitate recruitment and informed mobility for seasonal employment.
Support offered
European (Online) Job Days - Work in Greece (Fiλoξeniα) – provides an online job matching and information service that allows EU/EEA jobseekers and Greek employers to connect directly through vacancy listings, applications and online interviews. The initiative offers practical information on living and working conditions in Greece, including employment rights and obligations relevant to seasonal work. It also enables direct interaction with EURES advisers through online communication tools.
Target groups and eligibility
The initiative targets EU/EEA jobseekers seeking employment in Greece and Greek employers recruiting workers in sectors with high labour demand, particularly tourism, HORECA and construction. There are no eligibility criteria, and participation is open to all interested jobseekers and employers who register online.
