Rationale and aims
EURADRIA provides support to seasonal workers in the Italy–Slovenia border area by addressing practical and legal obstacles to cross-border labour mobility. It aims to support mobile workers (including seasonal) by offering bilingual information and counselling on labour law, social security and taxation, and by clarifying cross-border rules for workers and employers.
Support offered
EURADRIA provides bilingual counselling for cross-border workers and employers on labour law, social insurance, taxation and residency formalities related to cross-border work. It also supports job finding through vacancy publication and recruitment events. The service is delivered online through its website , via a central email inbox, and through in-person or telephone support at EURADRIA Infodesks on both sides of the border. Additionally, it provides information relevant to seasonal work.
Target groups and eligibility
EURADRIA is intended for cross-border workers who live in Italy or Slovenia and work (have worked or plan to work) in the other country, including seasonal workers, as well as employers hiring across the border. There are no formal eligibility criteria, but support prioritises cases that are cross-border relevant.
