Rationale and aims
migrare provides multilingual information and counselling to support migrant workers in Upper Austria, including seasonal workers, in understanding and exercising their rights and obligations. The services provided by migrare aim to offer practical assistance on employment, legal, social, housing and labour market issues.
Support offered
migrare provides appointment-based multilingual counselling through its services and website. It offers information and advice on residence and employment law, social welfare and financial matters, housing and accommodation, labour market access and recognition of foreign qualifications, as well as psychosocial support. The support is tailored to the needs of migrant workers and their employers.
Target groups and eligibility
The service targets all migrant workers resident in Upper Austria, including EU mobile workers. It is accessible to persons registered as residents of Upper Austria or with the Upper Austrian Employment Services, with support also available to help meet these conditions.
