Rationale and aims

Čezmejni zaposlitveno-karierni sejem Koper, organised by the Regional Office Koper of the Employment Service of the Republic of Slovenia (ESS) in partnership with EURES, brings together seasonal jobseekers and employers from Slovenia, Italy and Croatia to support matching, career guidance and recruitment in the Primorska region. It aims to facilitate access to seasonal employment opportunities, provide information on rights and obligations, and support fair cross-border labour mobility.

Support offered

Čezmejni zaposlitveno-karierni sejem Koper is an annual in-person event that provides job matching and recruitment support to seasonal jobseekers and employers, including short interviews and presentation of vacancies. It offers career guidance, information on workers’ rights and obligations, and guidance on fair cross-border mobility, including social security, taxation and employment conditions. The fair also offers networking opportunities for employers and partner institutions.

Target groups and eligibility

The fair targets jobseekers including unemployed people, students and pupils entering the labour market, employed individuals seeking new opportunities, pensioners, migrants, third-country nationals and asylum seekers It also targets employers and support institutions from Slovenia, Italy and Croatia. Participation is open and free of charge for jobseekers without eligibility requirements, while employers and institutions must register in advance and comply with applicable legal employment regulations.
