EURES

European network of employment services (EURES evaluation 2016-2020)

Introduction

The European network of employment services (EURES) facilitates the free movement of workers within the EU countries plus Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland, and - until the end of 2020 - the UK (the ‘EURES countries’).

EURES services are provided through the online EURES portal and more than 1,000 EURES advisers in daily contact with jobseekers and employers across Europe.

The EURES Regulation (EU) 2016/589 requires the European Commission to perform an evaluation of the network operation and effects during 2016-2020.  This survey is part of the evaluation.

How to provide feedback

We are living a very special situation that forces us to adapt in ways we would have never imagined before. Even if the current circumstances are making labour mobility particularly difficult, we would like to ask you to look past this and reply to the questionnaire(s) thinking about a normal context.

You can provide your opinion on EURES through the following means:

Public consultation – Accessible in all 24 EU languages for everyone with an interest in (EU) labour mobility.

You can access the public consultation questionnaire here until 30/06/2020.

Targeted surveys - Available in English until 30/06/2020 for those more involved in EURES:

- Jobseekers who have received EURES services (e.g. information on working abroad, interview preparatory training, etc.) can complete this survey

- Employers recruiting with the support of EURES can complete this survey
