JOBmatch

Rationale and aims

JOBmatch is a free mobile application developed by the Public Employment Services (Δημόσια Υπηρεσία Απασχόλησης – DYPA).  It connects jobseekers and employers in the HORECA sector in Greece and aims to address labour shortages affecting seasonal work by matching registered jobseekers with available vacancies. The service seeks to facilitate faster recruitment by enabling employers and jobseekers to identify suitable matches and contact each other directly through the application.

Support offered

JOBmatch is a mobile application which offers an online matching service through a mobile application that enables employers in the HORECA sector to post vacancies and identify suitable candidates. Additionally, it allows jobseekers to present their skills and job preferences, express interest in vacancies and receive interview requests directly from employers.

Target groups and eligibility

JOBmatch targets employers in the HORECA sector in Greece and jobseekers seeking employment, including seasonal work opportunities. Access is open to users with an iOS or Android device who can register free of charge, provided they hold a Greek tax identification number.
