Rationale and aims
Fachstelle Migration und Gute Arbeit Brandenburg provides free, confidential advice and training to seasonal workers in Brandenburg to support them in understanding and enforcing their labour rights. It aims to address issues such as unpaid wages, working conditions and labour exploitation, and to raise awareness of rights among seasonal and cross-border workers.
Support offered
Fachstelle Migration und Gute Arbeit Brandenburg provides free, confidential and multilingual counselling through in-person meetings, telephone and email. The service offers advice on workers’ rights, working conditions and employment-related issues, and supports seasonal workers in cases of labour exploitation, forced labour and human trafficking. It also provides information materials and training on key employment rights.
Target groups and eligibility
The service is intended for EU mobile workers, including seasonal workers, as well as third-country nationals and refugees working in Brandenburg, with a particular focus on cross-border workers. There are no specific eligibility criteria other than being located in the state of Brandenburg.
