  • Project

Rationale and aims

Berliner Beratungszentrum für Migration und Gute Arbeit provides free and confidential advice to mobile workers in Berlin on employment and labour rights under German law. It aims to support fair working conditions by informing mobile (including seasonal) workers about employment contracts, minimum wage rules, documentation of work and access to labour and social rights.

Support offered

Berliner Beratungszentrum für Migration und Gute Arbeit provides advisory services and training for mobile workers on employment, labour and social rights in Germany. The service offers information and counselling on employment contracts, minimum wage regulations, documentation of work and available support services. Additionally, it also delivers advice through workplace visits.

Target groups and eligibility

The service targets migrant and mobile workers from EU/EFTA countries and non-EU countries in Germany, including seasonal workers, posted workers, self-employed individuals and third-country nationals, as well as those affected by labour exploitation, forced labour or human trafficking. The counselling service is open to all migrant workers at all stages of the migration process, with no eligibility criteria. The support particularly targets workers active in sectors such as agriculture, cleaning, construction, gastronomy and delivery services.
